What will the weather be like? While we won’t know the exact forecast until closer to the date, historically late-August in Zadar is hot, sunny, and very beach-friendly: Average day: ≈ 28 °C, average night: ≈ 21 °C Rainfall: only about 4 days per month, let us hope not 29.08. :) Sunshine: ~10 hours of sunshine per day Sea temperature: around 24–25 °C (75–77 °F) – perfect for a swim! What to pack: Lightweight, breathable summer clothes, hats and sunglasses, and high-SPF sunscreen. Church reminder: Please bring a light shawl or jacket to cover your shoulders for the ceremony.

How can I get from the airport to Zadar city centre? From Zadar Airport to the City Airport Bus (Liburnija 31): Departs right outside the terminal every 60 min, running to the main bus station (Kolodvor) in about 20 min. Tickets (~5 €) can be purchased onboard or at the little kiosk by the bus stop. Shuttle/Transfer Services: Several private shuttles (e.g. Croatia Transfers, Zadar Shuttle) offer door-to-door rides—bookable online in advance. Car Rental: Major agencies (Sixt, Hertz,..) have desks in the arrivals hall—ideal if you’re planning island-hopping or some holiday tour before or after the wedding. Rideshares (Uber/Bolt): Coverage is not ideal at the airport if you prefer Uber or Bolt. It’s usually easier to request the rideshares from the city. However, if you decide for rideshares, the prices to Old Town should not be higher than 20€; the ride takes 15–20 min depending on traffic. Within Zadar Uber & Taxi: Both operate throughout the city, with stands at the Old Town and major hotels. Public Buses: Liburnija buses run frequently across all main routes, including stops at Kolodvor and the ferry port. Single tickets cost ~2 € (buy onboard or via app). On the Wedding Day Shuttle Service: If you are not planning on driving at all on the wedding day, let us know: We’ll arrange a shuttle from the Cathedral in the Old Town directly to the dinner venue in Sukošan. Let us know in the RSVP whether you want to take use of it. Please be aware that other transports are not organized by us. Island Connections (for the other holiday days) Ferry Lines: Jadrolinija ferries and Krilo catamarans sail daily from the ferry port (Riva), a 5-min walk from the Old Town, to Ugljan, Pašman, Dugi Otok and beyond. Check jadrolinija.hr or krilo.hr for schedules and bookings.

How can I pay in Croatia?Croatia is using the Euro (€) since January 2023. Most restaurants, shops, and hotels in Zadar accept Visa and MasterCard. For market stalls, tipping, or spontaneous purchases, however, it’s wise to carry some cash in euros — you’ll find ATMs all over the city. Before this, our currency was - a not so popular animal - the "kuna"
